Nathan "Cory" Seymour
Nathan Cory Seymour graduated from New England College in Henniker, N.H. with a B.A. in Theater, with an emphasis in both acting and technical elements; he holds an M.F.A. in Technical Theatre and Production Management from North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, N.C. After world tours as an electrician with Alvin Ailey American Dance Company, Cory worked as an electrician and props crew head on several major Broadway shows from 1990-1999, including The Who’s Tommy, Beauty and the Beast, Barrymore, Sunset Boulevard, Titanic, and Phantom of the Opera. He was prop shop foreman with the Denver Center of Performing Arts from 1994 until he joined CSU’s Theatre faculty in 2004 where he is Technical Director for the School of Music, Theatre and Dance. Cory brings a wide and varied range of professional experiences to CSU students. Whether summer stock theatre, community theatre, professional equity theatre houses, Broadway, touring productions and companies, he shares every story, tip and trick so students graduate prepared and inspired.
