Recover are fundamental movement concepts that we study as dance artists\
, discovering the limits and ability of the body in space. They are also f
oundational to the aging body as gravity influences our stability and chal
lenge to walk upright. People living with Parkinson’s are immediately aw
are of falling and recovering from all sorts of things and are confronted
with them on a daily and moment-to-moment basis\, both physically and psyc
hologically. This dance piece looks at these concepts as well as a path of
the “condition”\, reflecting on the difficulties\, the bizarre presen
tations and the humor and play we ultimately need to remind ourselves to t
ake part in. www.movingthroughparkinsons.com\n\nto be seen\, to be underst
