 \nSeemie Xavier is based in Aurora\, and performs and teaches Oriental dan
 ce and Bollywood dance in the metro Denver area and along the Front Range.
  Since 2010\, she has performed regularly at private parties and functions
 \, gala and charity events\, world dance festivals\, and belly dance produ
 ctions. Seemie has performed repeatedly at numerous fairs and festivals\, 
 including the Boulder Creek Festival\, the VAC Boulder International Dance
  Festival\, and The People's Fair in Denver. She has been a featured dance
 r at Middle Eastern and Indian restaurants in Longmont\, Boulder\, Denver\
 , Manitou Springs\, and Colorado Springs.\n\nAlong with teaching privately
 \, in workshops and as a clinician\, Seemie is a dance instructor for Auro
 ra Dance Arts. She has taught for Colorado Free University and the Aurora 
 Public Schools Compass Program\, and has been a guest artist at the Univer
 sity of Colorado\, Boulder.\n\nSeemie continues to evolve her Oriental dan
 ce style\, drawing from her training in Egyptian\, Turkish\, and Lebanese 
 styles. She has studied Middle Eastern Dance with a variety of instructors
 \, including award-winning and internationally-acclaimed individuals in th
 e field.\n\nA classically trained flutist\, Seemie also holds a Master's d
 egree in Music. She is grateful for her background as a professional music
 ian\, her childhood world travels with her family\, and her love of music 
 and dance\, all of which enrich her dancing.
