DESCRIPTION:André Megerdichian performed with the José Limón Dance Compa
 ny\, Dance Kaleidoscope\, Janis Brenner and Dancers\, The Mary Anthony Dan
 ce Theatre\, Soundance Repertory Company\, Reidel Dance Theatre\, Daniel C
 haron\, and Sean Curran. He served on the faculty at the Duncan Center Con
 servatory in Prague Czech\, Republic\, The Limón Institute in New York Ci
 ty\, and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music\, and 
 has taught masterclasses and workshops throughout the U.S. and internation
 ally. His choreography has been commissioned by numerous universities\, fe
 stivals\, and dance institutions\, including Dance Kaleidoscope\, Cincinna
 ti Ballet\, Next Dance Company\, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra\, and the Or
 egon Shakespeare Festival Daedalus Project. Raised in Beirut\, Lebanon\, A
 thens\, Greece\, and Geneva\, Switzerland\, André holds a B.F.A. from But
 ler University\, and an M.F.A. in Choreography from the California Institu
 te of the Arts\; he is assistant professor of dance at the University of S
