DESCRIPTION:\n\nWednesday March 27\, 2:15-3:30 p.m.\nClass with Kristin Hap
 ke\, (Occupational Therapy Doctorate Candidate\, Certified in LSVT BIG\, P
 ilates and Movement Analysis) will teach a movement class to enhance our f
 unction\, coordination and fun in our daily lives. Kristin will incorporat
 e her expertise as a tenured dance professor and Pilates instructor\, alon
 g with her occupational therapy doctorate capstone project on Parkinson’
 s disease and upper extremity conditions and recent certification in LSVT 
 BIG\, a highly recognized and valued therapy for people living with Parkin
 son’s. Kristin brings her passion for movement and teaching to her class
 es and clients to enrich their lives with efficient movement patterns\, gr
 eater strength and balance.\n\nSaturday\, April 6\, 1-3:30 p.m.\nFall &amp
 \; Recover: Explore ways to PREPARE for\, PREVENT\, and RECOVER from Falli
 ng\nLed by MTP Director Lisa Morgan and Dr. John Zapanta\, PT.\n\nDr. Zapa
 nta PT\, DPT received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Regis Unive
 rsity in Denver\, CO in 2012. He completed an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
  Residency program at HonorHealth in Scottsdale\, AZ. He is Board Certifie
 d in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) and is Fellowship-Trained in the A
 merican Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). There
  will be a minimal fee for this workshop.\n\nWednesday\, April 10\, 2:15-3
 :30 p.m.\nDancing Through Our Day led by Sarah Parsons and Izzy Dodge\, bo
 th first-year doctoral students in occupational therapy (OT)\, are passion
 ate about blending OT principles with the therapeutic benefits of dance an
 d movement to enhance both physical and mental wellness. This session will
  incorporate dance\, mindfulness-based techniques\, and strategies for nav
 igating daily activities\, designed to equip individuals with practical to
 ols to enhance their physical engagement throughout the day.\n\nFriday\, A
 pril 19\, 3:40-4:45 p.m. CSU Dance students (D340 Repertory and Engagement
 )\nDance majors\, along with Lisa Morgan will lead a class with invited pa
 rticipants from our program.\n\nWednesday\, April 24\, 2:15-3:30 P.M.\nHea
 lthy Hydration\, Lumph\, and Elimination - a webinar with Heidi Huser Hack
 ler. Heidi is a Functional Wellness and Nutrition coach\, Reiki master\, a
 nd author and believes in a holistic approach to health and wellness.\n\nR
