Supplemental Lesson Experiences
Supplemental Lesson Experiences are short, distinct movement activity(s) (5-7 minutes each), designed to be inserted into previously created academic lesson plans. Focus is on incorporating kinesthetic, visual, and auditory ways of learning to enhance the overall educational experience.
They are designed for teachers who recognize the value of movement/dance as a complement to academic learning and desire to add physical and creative engagement to their classroom.
There is no set number of experiences per lesson. The instructor can choose as few as one or as many as needed to enhance the lesson and maintain a cohesive lesson structure.
