During the Dance Experience visit, you’ll take classes in modern, hip-hop, and ballet taught by CSU dance faculty. You’ll take classes alongside CSU dance majors. You’ll get to talk to current students and faculty, and you’ll see a live performance of choreography in progress for our upcoming concerts. You’ll have the chance to perform the solo portion of your dance major audition in person, and you’ll also complete the audition interview during the event.

The Dance Experience: Visit and Audition Days include an overview of our dance program, excerpts from our upcoming Dance Concert performed in our dance spaces, and teaching demonstrations by CSU Dance faculty for prospective students to observe or participate in. Prospective students (and parents/guardians) can ask questions of the faculty and current students during a Q&A session.
