CSU’s School of Music, Theatre, and Dance offers a one-week summer day camp (Monday-Friday) at CSU Spur Campus for elementary school students ages 8-13. Over the week, students will be introduced to the foundations of theatre by CSU faculty members, CSU Theatre and Dance students, and guest artists. Students will act, sing, and dance, and at the end of the week, parents, friends, and the community are welcome to watch them showcase their talents and celebrate their achievements.

Join leading Dance/Movement Educators and Education Specialists to explore strategies and tools for integrating movement at all levels of learning in pK-12 classrooms. Colorado State University invites Colorado pK-12 educators and administrators to join us in person for presentations, exploration, sharing resources, and expanding our awareness and knowledge of the benefits of movement in the classroom. Guest speakers, university faculty, and education specialists will present the latest research and tools to help you reach more students, offer innovative ways to teach core curriculum and learn about how our state is supporting our efforts.

The spring capstone dance concert, hold sway, is a movement story encompassing themes of individuality and overcoming strife. Senior dance majors, Faith, Tamia, Corey, Ethan, and Mikayla illustrate divergence through intricate and visceral movement languages. Please join us in celebrating their capstone achievement!
