Verb Ballets of Cleveland performs works by Chung-Fu Chang

This weekend, Verbs Ballets of Cleveland will be inspired by the choreography of CSU dance professor Chung-Fu Chang, as they perform the world premiers of "Borrowing Winds" and "Pheasant's Writing." It is Chang's second residency in Cleveland following last year's session when Chang created and set "The Lily" on the contemporary dance company. The three works, which draw inspiration from elements of Chang's native Taiwan, will be performed on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Breen Performing Arts Center.

Chang has danced with Cloudgate Dance Theatre and Kaohsiung Contemporary Dance Company, and his works have been performed nationally and internationally, as well as by the CSU Tour Dance Company.
